Just thought I’d put up one picture of what Staysea sees every day in France. Her book, café and the nice lady who speaks enough english to make her stay pleasant.
We went to the airport and picked up our Citroen C2 to drive around for the week and bolted for the Mediterranean ocean. We where able to put our feet in the water (which was cold) and enjoy the sun and very soft sand. I can only imagine what it’s like in the summer when the water is 22ºC and the beach is 32ºC.
We did end up going to a very nice restaurant for dinner last night. Les Bains de Montpellier and it was wonderful. I had a skewer of grilled duck and passion fruit. Staysea had scallops and pasta, plus for desert we had creme brulé. It was spectacular. Les Bains is an old roman bath house that has been converted to a restaurant. Through the main doors there is an open air courtyard, and the tables for dinner are each set inside one of the old baths. These pictures are from the day, but it is beautifully lit during the night and was an absolutely wonderful experience.
Whats with all the creme brule? arn’t you going to have a different desert?????
Sounds like fun… but Jay you still should have taken me… no visas needed
