Our flock as expanded yet again! This one is a bit different. He’s a very rare Turquoisine Parakeet, an Australian grass parakeet. They are rather expensive if you can find a breeder that actually has them, but like all my other birds he is also a rescue. 
after a small fortune spent at an avian vet treating his injured leg. I took him to Dr. Valsamis at Brittania Animal Hospital and was HUGELY impressed with his knowledge and treatment, i’ll be taking all of my birds to him from now on.
I found him in the parking lot at my new job….on the first day…making me 30 minutes late after i drove him home…oops. Thank goodness Paul and Theresa are understanding people and forgave me!
We could use a little help naming this little guy. Spencer calls him Paint Bucket, Jason calls him Taz and I’ve been calling him Champ. If you got any suggestions I’d love to hear them!!! Thanks

What a beauty! How about calling him Crayola, or after one of the impressionists, Monet or maybe Picasso. The pink cast is a nice accessory. How does the rest of the flock like him?
