Anyone who has been around pets know that an animal will only act in the way it has been taught by their owner or to protect themselves. People need to wise up, banning a breed of dog won't solve anything!! Banning bad animal owners, maybe. There is nothing worse than an animal abuser or neglector. For the other people, if they only knew the joy that an animal can bring to people's life they would just shut up! To Spencer I'm very sorry for your loss. I know how it feels when an animal dies. When I was small my friend had a Doberman who was our best buddy and protector. Memories of her carrying around her "blanky" just don't fit with many people's veiw of a doberman as a vicious beast.
