How did it get your birthday cake? and what you going to do with him/her? I don’t think they make good pets.

Congradulations! You have hosted North America’s only marsupial, the opposum. They are gradually expanding thier range from the deep south. A most adaptable creature he is a good scavenger & will eat almost anything. They do not hibernate and that naked tail is prone to frostbite.
