Tux n’ Tosh
I decided it was time for a change on my desktop, so this is what I came up with. Pretty much entirely thanks to Tux n’ Tosh. Mostly, it just makes me laugh.

Goodbye Kung-Log, Hello Ecto
I don’t like morning workouts
So, none of the 3 elevators where working when I arrived at work this morning. It is fairly typical that 1 or 2 are not working. I don’t know what’s wrong with them, but clearly it is beyond their maintainers capabilities. So, up the 8 flights of stairs, I trod. Fun.
No commentsiPod Mini
I was really surprised when the iPod Mini was announced at the MacWorld Keynote in January. It was 4 Gig, small and $249!?!? The price was a little high, only $50 more and you can buy a 15 Gig iPod. Then I read this article, and things came into light. Take a look!

I Quit!
![]()
Ok, so maybe you’ve heard this before, what reason have you got to believe me this time? I’m serious this time. I wasn’t the first time, i was only doing it to please other people. This time…the last time….i’m doing it for my health, and maybe a little bit so my brother will be proud of me.
I thank everybody for their encouragment and support the last time and i’d appreciate it again this time. The one thing that you could do for me if you’re so inclined is to send me your 10 favorite songs! I’m going to burn them onto CD’s and play them while i’m driving…..i figure if i have music to listen to and CD’s to fiddle with i’ll be one step closer to making the long drive to Guelph and back everyday without going mad.
I have a real plan this time, i did some research, talked to some people and made a plan. I quit the only true way….cold turkey. But in order to be successful and maintain my sanity i’m easing the pain with the gum and finding things to keep me busy while i’m driving….hence my request for your music.
So wish me luck!
Prince of Persia
I used to play Prince of Persia way back, on my computer. But the latest installment, Sands of Time is awesome!!! I’ve been playing it on my Xbox and it is by far the slickest game I’ve seen so far. Fantastic character control, very akin to the Matrix. Pretty cool story line, and a good load of humor to keep you entertained.
Anyhow, I should get back to the game. It’s mildly addictive ![]()
Are video games too hard???
I read this article about Auto-dynamic difficulty in gaming. The idea is that as you play the game, it adjusts the difficulty automatically to your skill level. Changing values such as how hard you hit and how hard you’re hit back. Makes a lot of sense to me. I’m never sure what level I should set the game to in order to get the most out of it.

Technorati is a neat site that shows who is linking to your blog. Links into your blog help determine what your ranking is on Google. Here is their explination:
Cosmos allows you to find what’s new in the blogging universe, and find out who’s linking to whom. Simply type in a URL of a blog, website, or interesting article on the web, and Cosmos will tell you which bloggers are linking to the URL.
Check it out. Type in your website into the Cosmos and see what comes back.
Had to pull my Personal Font
I had to turn of my handwriting font, it was missing a bunch of the extended characters that I need for posting scripts and programming snippets.
Oh well, still cool none the less. Maybe I can find a use for it somewhere else in my blog, that doesn’t require such a complete character set.
