Ceiling Fans
Okay. I installed a Ceiling fan to replace the golden chandelier that was in the front room where the TV is going. It looks much nicer, and I don’t hit my head on anything, which is very nice.
Carl installed the second fan in the living room while I was at work. He was just finishing up when I came home for lunch. Now that both big light fixtures are gone the room really opens up. Plus the air circulation is nice.
Carl was nice enough to come by and finish off the inter-varnishing sanding to the floor and I’ll lay down a nice second coat tonight. I’ll probably let that dry till Monday and use my day off to do a final finish on the floor. I might paint the living room first and then finish the floors. That would pretty much finish the job minus the bathroom and kitchen. But I can pain the kitchen after I finish the floors.
Speaking of the bathroom, I found a tub surround and a new faucet for the shower. So I could do that in an evening too. There is some more demolition work that needs to get done to remove the old tile, plus replace the water damaged wall boards. It’s coming along nicely though.
