Saturday morning started off with some cleaning and more painting.

My office turned out quite nice, in it’s Pebble Beach color.

The living room got painted a supposed burgundy, unfortunately for us, we should have used a tinted primer because it came out more of a hot pink. To compensate the second gallon has 8x more black in it and will darken it up quite nicely.

After a dinner break Staysea and I painted the kitchen walls. I really like the color.

On day 7 we rented the floor sander, and I built the window seat for my office and prepped all the part for the living room window seat. Humphrey helped out too, he would like to remind you that safety is important in any home project.

This morning our dads finished off the work on the floor and started staining. You can see in some of the other pictures how dark the wood was before sanding. There was paint that had to come off and dark patches where stains had set in. It’s just incredible how different it all looks now.
