Great Weekend
Staysea and I had a great weekend at the Manor. Just the two of us and a lot of animals! We brought up Pandora and Staysea’s 2 birds, Marigold and Wynnie. Plus we got to meet lots of wildlife. Staysea was able to call over the dear by meowing at it. What? Yes, cat noises had the dear bounding from the back of the property, right up to the edge of the pool. There where also 3 baby Phoebies that where being closely guarded by their mom.
These little guys (3 baby chipmunks) showed themselves this morning. SO CUTE!.
I was (obviously) able to get very close to them. They apparently don’t have much fear of man yet.
Our last visitor was just before we left. This great turtle was just outside the garage when I was packing up the car. Staysea took these pictures when I brought him in and put him on the table. Plus she named him Crush.. don’t get it? Go see Finding Nemo He was missing his front left foot and back right foot. Doesn’t seem to slow him down much. Get it? A Turtle? Slow him down? *sigh*
