Ray and I stumbled upon Kung-Tunes yesterday, and he was playing around with it. Basically, it will put a page up on your server that shows what you are currently listening to in iTunes and what you have recently listened to.
So I’ve added that over there on the left under Music. Neat hu?
Comments are off for this postOk. So I watched Hannibal with Staysea last night. Nope. Didn’t like it so much. I’m not a huge fan of horror movies. I like suspense movies, but there are just some things I can’t take, like disemboweling. That really creeps me out. Oh, and being eaten by pigs. I can appreciate the brain main course scene for it’s effects. Good story though.
I need to watch some warm and fuzzies now to clear my brain.
1 commentBloody nethack. There is never any food around, you eat corpse after corpse and never feel satisfied.
Goodbye anakin the Wizard…
You died in The Dungeons of Doom on dungeon level 4 with 737 points, and 230 pieces of gold, after 1376 moves.
You were level 4 with a maximum of 41 hit points when you died.
The comp went great. I had lots of fun.
Today I slept in and then Staysea and I watched the first 2 movies (in story order not release order) of the Hannibal Lector series. I haven’t seen them before, Staysea has. They’re kinda creepy. All and all though, an excellent way to spend the day. Especially after running around for 3 days straight. I swear yesterday’s 6am – 8pm day is the last of it’s kind for a while.
Comments are off for this postIt’s Saturday night, I’ve checked in to the hotel. The comp has been going on for two days now, it started on Friday. I’m having a great time as usual. I’m just getting ready to head out for some socializing and drinking. We do have to be at the Etobicoke Olympium at 7am tomorrow though
That’s alright, I still have all day Monday off. Plus the banquet and party tomorrow night after the final Awards are done. Gonna head down to Brian’s room now. See ya!

This morning I received a Golden Jubilee Medal for my work with the Lifesaving Society.
Here is the release from the Society.
The Queen’s Jubilee Medal commemorates the Queen’s Golden Jubilee as Queen of Canada. Her Majesty, as the Patron of Commonwealth Royal Life Saving Society, has authorized the Society to grant the medal as a tangible way to pay tribute to the Society’s members whose achievements have benefited their fellow citizens, their community and their country.
In selecting individuals for this honour, the Lifesaving Society is mindful of those whose leadership and achievements during the past 50 years have significantly impacted the shape and culture of the Society in Canada. The Society also wishes to recognize youth who have demonstrated, through their leadership and achievements, the qualities and potential to lead the Society for the next generation.
In recognition of their outstanding contribution to the advancement of lifesaving in Canada and the well-being of their fellow Canadians, the Lifesaving Society is delighted to present the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal to Jason McLeod.
Dad, Staysea and I went out for dinner at Alice’s. It was a very nice dinner. Staysea gave me a great watch and Stich doll (from Disney’s Lilo and Stich). I love them both. Mom called right before we went out to say ‘hi’ and check in. She’s at her course at Queens university. It was a great night.
Dad is going to stay with me today. He’s got some business in town tomorrow but will be around for my medal presentation on Wednesday, plus my REAL birthday tomorrow. I’ve taken tomorrow off and am looking forward to bumming around the house.
Comments are off for this postIt’s beautiful out today. I was out for a drive, and since it was raining all morning, my entire neighborhood is in a blanket of mist as the rain evaporates off the hot roads. It’s a perfectly still day so there is no wind to blow it away. It’s really cool!
Guard team is coming over later for some Chili and to watch the final survivor. It’s my mom’s chili recipe, I don’t know how many people are coming, I hope that I have enough. Got to run to the store and pick up some more beer and stuff. Enjoy the day!
Comments are off for this postTraining was fun. Some old faces where back at the pool and it was kind of nice to be the rookie in the crowd, with only 10 years experience
We went to the pub afterwards too. Had some good food and continued the socializing. Judith says there are two types of conductors, ones in it for the money and ones in it for the social. I’m definitely still there to hang out and party with my friends.
LOL. Told Brian that I couldn’t do any “unofficial” scoring during Nationals and Provincial Guard competitions this year. Obviously, because I’m only interested in Staysea. He was disappointed, as Judith and Kathleen both pointed out, he was living vicariously through my experiences at comp.
