I broke down and bought a new video card for my PC. A new Radeon 9000 w/ 128 megs of RAM. Since I got my iBook I really havn’t had much use for my Dell. Sure it runs the BBS and holds all my MP3s but beyond that, zip. But this new graphics card is AMAZING!

NOW, I’ve been gaming like crazy. I even stopped watching TV. It’s been a long time since that happened. Warcraft III is beautiful, America’s Army is really hard and GTA3 is a lot of fun.

I also installed some new lighting over my desk on Sunday. It makes it much warmer and I enjoy my bedroom more now. Before it was so washed out with the stupid flourecent lighting. But with the new 3 halogen lights, the colors are so much richer. It’s great.

So I hooked up with Ray and Shannon today after work. That was really nice. I havn’t really seen Ray much. I’ve been feeling guilty still working after he was laid off. Seeing as he put me in touch with HR for my job. It was fun. I miss talking geek with him. We ended up at the Fox.

And at the Fox, I found out Leslie has finaly gotten free and is working for an insurance company now. She’s such a sweetheart. Now I’ll have to call her or email her to stay in touch. But I’m glad she’s found something that she enjoys. I know she enjoyed the Fox too, but I think she’ll get more from this job. Challenge her a bit more. She’s writing her test next week to be licensed. I’ll drop her a line or an email then and see how she’s doing.

Wow. I’ve done a lot of visiting with friends the past few days.

I saw Jean on Thursday, Lianne on Friday, Shopping with Yvonne on Saturday and a movie with Sarah later that night.

It’s been a while since I was out so much. It was really nice. I hadn’t seen Jean in a while so it was nice to catch up and go for a pint. Lianne had a crazy week that was absolutely hilarious. Yvonne and I have been missing each other for weeks and crossed paths when I called her while I was driving south on Miss road and she was driving north. So, I swung around and followed her shopping. Square one has changed a lot. I took Sarah out for her birthday. That was very nice, I love spending time with Sarah. I don’t get to do it too often and I enjoy it when I can.

Moved 4 huge piles of fire wood into the deck enclosure off the kitchen today. Worked with Paul, Dad, Rob and Elliot to move it all. Had a great bucket line going, passing logs down the line to the pile from the trailer. Good workout for the biceps and pecks.
Had a very nice dinner with everyone. Thanksgiving is great. I’m glad my mouth was all healed so that I could enjoy the food too. I was worried about that.

I’ll head back Monday. I’m not sure when. Maybe later after dinner. Maybe earlier. Probably later, that way I miss out on all the lovely traffic. Leaving really early Tuesday is out of the question, because I really would hit the heavy traffic.

Sweet, I got to play with a chainsaw all afternoon. I cut up a bunch of branches for kindling. Lots of fun
Paul should be up here soon and I’m just making some Pizzas for the family. Then sit back have a couple of beers with the old man and watch some movies, have a sauna, maybe shoot some pool. Ahh, this is the life.

Had a very long day at work yesterday. But afterwards I went to visit Alison and John. I haven’t seen them in a while. Alison’s been by the house a few times, but I’ve always been asleep or out.

As for my gum graft, it’s not bothering me as much any more. The packing on the donor section came off and now I have the lovely texture of stiches on the roof of my mouth. I can’t wait for them to completely disolve.

I’m heading out to the Manor today to spend Thanksgiving with my parents. Dad is going to come with me, he was down here doing some work and he’s leaving the van for Paul to drive up tomorrow. I’m looking forward to seeing my brother again and my cousins from Ottawa. It should be a lot of fun.

I setup another Blog for Coruscant. Redid the colors too. It looks really nice, if I do say so myself. I’m going to head up to my parent’s for the weekend. I took the Friday off, so it should be a very nice long weekend. My brother is also going to be up with his girlfriend. That should be a lot of fun. I’m really looking forward to it.

My chin is actually swolen. Since the graft was to my front bottom tooth, my chin has swolen and sore to the touch.

I had a vague memory of the nurse handing me instructions, I found them late last night. 10 days till I go back to have the packing removed and the stiches checked. I can’t wait.

I didn’t go to work today. It’s very uncomfortable to talk. Plus sleeping is much better, since I kept waking up last night. I did play some Warcraft III with Ray on Battle net. That was fun. He died. tee hee.

I think I’ll go make some soup and maybe have some icecream. That sounds good.

I had a gum graft today. It sucks, I don’t recomend it to anyone.

My mouth is really sore. I think I’m gong to try some soup with pain killers.
That should help I hope. This sucks.
